Career Technical Instruction (CTE)

Nueva Vista High School, in partnership with Bassett Adult School, offers two courses in CTE.

Career Exploration in Trades
Students will explore careers in trades with hands-on experience in electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and

appliance repair. Students will have an opportunity to earn OSHA certification.

Career Exploration in Medical

Students will explore careers in the medical field with hands-on experience in the areas of certified nursing

assistant, medical billing, physical therapy, and pharmacy technician. Students will have an opportunity to earn

OSHA and CPR certification.
