Project Based Learning

Project Based Learning (PBL) is a teaching strategy that presents students with a challenging real-world problem or question for study. Students use authentic, sustained inquiry over time to research the issues and they chose the elements to present. Student work is often hands on ,and produced in collaborative teams. After critique and revision of the drafts, as well as reflection about their learning, students present a public product to the community for evaluation. This process intends to bring relevance and rigor into instruction while utilizing all 21st Century skills.
